Championship Parade.
Chicago Blackhawks fans anxiously await for the parade to round the corner of Washington St. and Michigan Ave. They climbed the barricades and stood on top of the planters lining Michigan Ave. while police tried to keep them from coming any closer towards the planed parade route.
After the "Ticker-Tape" parade, shredded newspapers and other trash lay everywhere on the sidewalks and in the streets as people walked back towards Daley Plaza.

Many people had been standing out in the sun for upwards of 4 hours to see the parade. Ambulances had to be called in on at least ten people suffering from heat exhaustion and/or dehydration.
